ABSTRACT
Modern moleculargenetic methods of tuberculosis diagnosis have higher sensitivity and specificity compared to traditional methods, and allow to quickly detect the presence of tuberculosis mycobacteria in biosubstrates, their resistance to drugs, and timely selection and correction of treatment according to the type of mutation detected, increase the effectiveness of treatment, reduce the duration of ablation of patients and Mycobacterium tuberculosis makes it possible to prevent the spread of drugresistant strains.
