SUMMARY
Arterial hypertension (AH) during pregnancy is a serious problem in obstetric practice, affecting the health of the mother and fetus. Hypertension in pregnancy includes chronic hypertension, gestational hypertension, preeclampsia and eclampsia. The definition of each condition is based on blood pressure levels and the presence of other clinical signs. The article discusses modern approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of hypertension during pregnancy, including classification, risks and monitoring methods.
